Karen: Dreaming and Living Big After PBB

After announced as the Second Teen Big Placer, the Hagikhik Chick from Oriental Mindoro, was amazed as how many people actually supported her throughout her 90 – day journey inside Big Brother’s House.  Despite being tagged as “the frank, strong, independent- minded girl”, Karen still managed to capture the hearts of many people, teens and teens at heart.

Predicted by many  to be one of those who will make it big in the entertainment industry, not just for her pretty face that resembled Angelica Panganiban and Angel Locsin, but for her prowess in acting, as shown in special episodes of PBB, Karen is now starting her Showbiz career.

In fact, Karen had been added already as a support role in the hit afternoon drama, Angelito: Ang Bagong Yugto where she will play as Sofia.

She also graced the Student and Campus section of the Manila Bulletin’s July 25, 2012 Issue with the other Big 4 Winners, Myrtle, Jai and Joj and Roy, where she bared some interesting facts about herself and her family.  In that column with subtitle Karen: The Tough Teenager,  they even likened her to young Lorna Tolentino.

She also told MB  that aside from dancing, she has also acquired the talent of “seducing’’ the camera when posing for pictures.

She also guested in Gandang Gabi Vice and in Banana Split  where she showed her funny and playful side. She has also appeared twice in the morning show KrisTV, first with the Big 4 and second with some other Ex Housemates. They also guested in other Kapamilya shows like ASAP and Sarah G Live.

She also bravely answered all the questions regarding her behavior inside PBB as well as her relationship with her housemate Ryan Boyce in one of the episodes of The Buzz and Showbiz Inside Report.

Her fans inside and outside Philippines had been ardently supporting her budding showbiz career. Almost everyday since the Big Night, different hashtags about her and Ryan or collectively known as RYREN had trended not just nationwide but also worldwide in Twitter. 

I know there are still a lot of projects in store for her and I believe she will do great in them.  She’s really a natural. Be it in drama or comedy category. She's beauty and talent combined.  So, way to go Karen, let your sunny attitude bring you to your dreams and goals in life.
